I don't know if this is a good thing, but hey, as the saying goes, "You gotta eat" right? Jill Marie Jones has signed on to be in "Major Movie Star" opposite Jessica Simpson.
With "Redrum", "Universal Remote", and "Perfect Christmas", I have to say that Jones is working very hard these days and I hope that she can make Jessica Simpson work just as hard.
The plot revolves around an actress, played by Simpson, a pampered star who decides to enlist in the Marines to win approval from a producer and a studio who considers her unsuitable for an upcoming military-themed pic. Upon arriving at Camp Pendleton, she realizes she's made a mistake but decides to persist so she won't let her country down. Jones will play a fellow recruit and close friend of Simpson's. Shooting starts next month in Louisiana.
With "Employee of the Month" and "The Dukes of Hazzard", the jury is still out on whether anyone will Ms. Simpson serious when it comes to films. If "Major Movie Star" can be as good as "Private Benjamin" was with Goldie Hawn, then both Jones and Simpson will benefit.

I love jill she is still toni childs to me but i trully wish her the best of luck on what she decideds to do because she is trully a great actor and i am her biggest fan Jill make the world see you are more than a pretty face but a excellent actor you go girl ........love you ,best wishes to you and i will be in the first row when it hits the big screen .....

I wish Jill Marie much continued success. But I do wish she would return to 'GIRLFRIENDS'; even if only for Joan's wedding. Everything would come into Full Circle.

This movie is filming in my hometown, Shreveport, Louisiana. Maybe I'll see Jill Marie Jones around town. Jessica Simpson has been spotted several times, but I'd much rather see Jill aka Toni Childs. LOL!
