Talk about reinvention. Just like her fellow colleague Cindy Crawford did years ago, Supermodel Naomi Campbell is now entering the film game, but unlike other neophytes, she's not trying to get in by taking baby steps and doing supportive parts. Somehow French filmmaker Catherine Breillat is writing the script for a film based on her recently published novel "Bad Love." and that Ms. Campbell will be the star of it according to The Hollywood Reporter.

The film is set to start shooting during the first quarter of 2008, first in Toronto, then moving to Paris for the rest of production.

If you know anything about Catherine Breillat or have seen any of her films, you know that her stuff is controversial and involves some pornographic sex or some sort of abuse. Given Ms. Campbell's behavior at times, who knows if the story is something she can relate to. As far as having a lead role for her first film, just remember when her girl Crawford did 'Fair Game' for her first film back in 1995. We never saw her on the big screen again, at least on a major level.
