Everyone goes through ups and downs in the business. It's just a matter of time when the depression turns to the opposite and the situation grows rosy again. Jennifer Lopez recently had her last film, 'El Cantante', released in limited theaters and only grossed a little over $7 million. Now, from what I gathered, her latest film, 'Bordertown', will ONLY open up in theaters in El Paso, Texas this week. WOW! How low is low? There was a time when a J-Lo grabbed some sort of attention and had her films released in over 2000 theaters. This film didn't have any buzz going for it. The cast also includes Antonio Banderas, Martin Sheen, Sonia Braga, Maya Zapata.
Based on true events, "Bordertown" is the story of one woman's passionate struggle for justice in a town gripped by fear. Lauren (Jennifer Lopez), an impassioned American reporter for the Chicago Sentinel heads to Juarez, a Mexican bordertown, in order to investigate a series of mysterious slayings involving young factory women from all over Mexico. As she discovers hundreds of victims, she gains the trust of local factory workers but falls into danger.
In a few weeks from now, Lopez will have another film come out. 'Feel The Noise', which stars Omarion, is a film in which she co-produced.

"We come together to live, teach and preach
love, unity and equality to all believers in Christ Jesus..."
Our Mission and Purpose
1. Our desire is to do and teach just what the word of God says from the bible, without imposing our own presuppositions and preconceptions into His word.
2. We are experiencing the bible in our everyday lives, not just knowing the word. The bible, the word of God, the scriptures, we highly value it.
3. We believe that the bible is the very written word of God, and that it is absolutely reliable for all matters pertaining to life.
4. Rather than just joining a church or ministry and going through the motions. The desire of our hearts more than anything else, is to grow to look like Jesus, to get involved at Bishop James R Winfree Ministries. To get involved in growth, change, and relationships with other believers here in the USA and worldwide.
5. We here at Bishop James R Winfree Ministries place our priority upon openness and flexibility, believing that such climate is conducive to personal relational and spiritual growth. We are loosely structured to allow room for the Holy Spirit change and His freshness and God's innovations.
6. We come together to live, teach and preach love, unity and equality to all believers in Christ Jesus, to celebrate God's goodness and faithfulness. We are here for the encouragement, teaching and preaching the gospel of Jesus Christ building up the body of Christ.
7. We are here to support and have loving churches in our communities that live, believe and teach the gospel of Jesus Christ and teach unity and equality for all believers in the faith.
8. We know and believe that every believer in Christ Jesus has something of value to offer to this ministry and to each other this is where we are maturing in all areas of our lives spiritually as we give of ourselves and support to help others in the faith.
9. We are first of all believers in Christ Jesus striving to make Jesus central in our lives. He is Lord of His Church, and it is around Him that our mission and purpose revolve.
10. The Holy Spirit has a rich diversity of believers from all ethnic, educational and socio-economic backgrounds. He has also brought about unity and equality that communicates warmth and acceptance to all who join in His fellowship.
11. We believe that in Jesus Christ’s church which is His true Body, there should be no believer in need.
12. Our Lord said in Luke 6:38 if you give you will receive. Your gift and support will return to you in full measure, pressed down, shaken together to make room for more, because men will give what you need, for what measure you give-whether large or small will be used to measure what is given back to you.

Of course Bordertown is not getting all types of crazy press . . its a REAL story of the latino struggle NOT portaryed by whites . . .now if whites were playing latino roles the press would be singing a different tune. Notice the names - this is job being done b/c a story needs to be told! This is about conviction! No one wants to hear the voice of the oppressed when it is as concise, clear & articulate as the dominant culture! But for those of us who deal w/ daily injustices - we know the deal . . . stay in your presribed place. HOORAY Jennifer Lopez! Horray everyone involved in that film! Hooray for those of us who make our stories heard to be reconed w/ in OUR OWN VOICE!

It's just marketing. Warner Bros opened Harry Potter over seas first and Ben Afflect latest film will only open in France at first-this quite common and has nothing to do with public demand-this FILM IS IN DEMAND. This may be the only J-Lo film that I will spend money to see or even Antonio Banderas for that matter. I remember when Kd and Play would open "House party" in South Central L.A. first-you have to open or premier somewhere NO film just opens to every theatre simutaneously.

We believe in our blessed Jesus Christ God's only Son. (Gen 3:15); (Ps 2:7); (Is 9:6); (Matt 1:21); (Mk 1:11); (Luke 1:31, 32) and (John 1:18).
We believe in the Holy Bible, The Old and New Testament, (Ps 119:47); (Ps 119:72); (Ps119:82); (Ps 119:97); (Ps 119:140); (Jer 15:16)

We believe in God our Father and in Jesus Christ His Son. Who is our Savoir and Lord, who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, put to death, descended into the lowest parts of the earth or some say hell, on the third day He rose from the dead with all power in heaven and earth in His hands and control. Then ascended into the heaven and is at the right hand of God our Father. (John 3:16); (I Tim 6:15, 16); (Eph 4:6); (Matt 1:20, 21); (Luke 2:1-20); (I Tim 2:5, 6); (Act 1:9-11); (John 14:16, 17); (John 16:8-11); (Act 1:8)
We believe in walking in Unity, Equality and in the love of Jesus Christ. (Rom 12:5); (1 Cor 10:17); (Gal 3:28); (Eph 4:13); (1 Cor 1:10); (2 Cor 13:11); (Eph 4:3); (Php 1:27); (1 Pet 3:8)
We believe in keeping peace with all and living and walking in God's grace and mercy. (Job 22:21); (Ps 34:14); (Isa 27:5); (Col 3:15)
We believe that unless a person is born again, he or she will not inherit the Kingdom of Heaven. (John 3:8); (1 John 4:7); (1 John 5:1, 4, 18)
