It was only a matter of time before someone captilized on Evan Ross's good looks and put him in a romantic. Between 'ATL', 'Pride', and 'Life Support', Ross has done some impressive dramatic films and continues to impress producers as he grows in the business. According to the Hollywood Reporter, Ross will star opposite Hilary Duff in the interracial teen romance, 'Greta'.
Duff will play the title role of a waitress who falls for an ambitious cook (Ross) at the restaurant where they work. But as their summer romance heats up, she has to overcome the concerns of her grandparents (Burstyn, Murphy) about her boyfriend's criminal past. The comic drama is now shooting in New Jersey.
"Greta" is produced by Whitewater's Rick Rosenthal (director of "Halloween: Resurrection" and "Bad Boys"),

Out of all the comments posted most don't factor in that Evan did really good in ATL, Pride and Life Support. He is currently building his reputation in Holywood and that means taking on roles that are contreversal and will appeal to the people that actually go to the movies and don't wait for the dvd or bootleg to be released.

Why is it that anytime an interracial movie is made it is always the black woman/man with a criminal past madam, pimp, drug kingpin, prostitute, etc.and the white man/woman being afraid of what her/his parents would think,if your over the ages of 10,18,21,who cares what anyone thinks, love sees no color, and why is he settling for a waitress, why not a forensic scientist, medical doctor, lawyer or some along that line,he's a very good actor,it doesn't matter what race his.
