Over the weekend at Wonder-Con, Paramount Pictures had shown some footage of their upcoming summer film 'Iron Man' and the crowd was very delighted and anticipating its arrival. The film stars Robert Downey Jr. as Tony Stark/ Iron Man and judging by the trailer, I, too, am looking forward to seeing this.
Gwyneth Paltrow plays his secretary and love interest Virginia Potts, Terrence Howard plays jet pilot James Rhodes, and Jeff Bridges plays the villainous Obadiah Stane / Iron Monger.
Based upon Marvel's iconic Super Hero, "Iron Man" tells the story of Tony Stark, a billionaire industrialist and genius inventor who is kidnapped and forced to build a devastating weapon. Instead, using his intelligence and ingenuity, Tony builds a high-tech suit of armor and escapes captivity. Upon his return to America, Tony must come to terms with his past. When he uncovers a nefarious plot with global implications, he dons his powerful armor and vows to protect the world as Iron Man.
'Iron Man' opens on May 2, 2008

Hey Dion, do you remember when Marion Berry (the black mayor) was a "wash-out" and also a "coke head" and got caught on video tape--smoking crack? Didn't he get re-elected? And FYI, I'm BLACK! I have much respect for Robert Downey Jr's great talent and look forward to Iron Man. I'm also glad that he has cleaned up and is trying to overcome his demons.

...not to mention Nichole Richie is a big time dope fiend and she never even had to "bounce back" because she never had the decency to go anywhere.

Wow, Thats a pretty all star cast for a superhero movie, well, bigger than in the last few years for a hero that people don't really here about. I would have expected ameteur actors for this not Robert Downey jr, Gywneth Paltrow and Terrance Howard. Though since I do like all three of them I guess I'm gonna have to go see it...

Robert Downey Jr. is a great actor and its ironic he is playing Iron Man because in the comics, he became an alcoholic and Jim Rhodes took over as Iron Man for a while. So Mr. Downey can bring a lot of realism to the part.

Politics is different from being an actor or even an athlete... People vote for the politcians they align themselves with and like, if the movies and politics are similar, does that mean that directors and producers want actors they like and align themselves with as well? Take it as you want, but to some extent Dion has a point... But I digress... Robert Downey, Jr. is a great actor, I think he's worth watching and I LOVE TERRENCE HOWARD, HE'S SO GREAT!!!!!!!!! I might go see this movie
FYI: I'M BLACK, thanks
