Here's your first look at Bernie Mac, Isaac Hayes, and Samuel L. Jackson in 'Soul Men', which is being by Malcom Lee (The Best Man, Welcome Home Roscoe Jenkins).
Jackson and Mac will play two former backup soul singers who are part of a famed group that fell apart once the lead singer went solo. Bernie's character went on to open up Car Wash stores and retire while Sam's character started robbing banks and ended up in prison. He eventually gets out. They haven't spoken to each other in 20 years but reluctantly agree to travel cross country together to the Apollo Theater in New York City for a tribute performance in honor of their recently deceased band leader.
Shooting is currently underway in Shreveport, Louisiana. Also featured in the film are Jennifer Coolidge, Sean Hayes, and Sharon Leal.
Dimension Films will release the film on Octiber 10, 2008.

Don't pay attention to Righty Whitey, he's the product of incest and an HIV mother and father/uncle.
The pc he uses is shared by all eighteen in that trailer camper. They're all inbred so ignore the trailer trash idiot.

1. Octiber? You mean October.
2. This looks like a good movie to see. Discover a little bit of soul in music we forgot about. Looking forward to it already. Especially with Bernie Mac.
3. If someone doesn't put Righty Whitey out of his misery already, I don't know what I'll do, and in case he is actually reading this, no, it has nothing to do with spears, AIDS or any mindless racist anecdote you plan to bring out on your next visit here. That's all I have to say.
