I have to admit that 50 Cent is really making an effort to get the same respect that some of his rap colleagues have in the acting world. While Common and Mos Def have already earned kudos for some of their films such as 'Street Kings' and 'Something The Lord Made', respectively, 50 Cent is still looking for that one role where he won't be overshadowed by other actors like in his upcoming role in 'Righteous Kill' with Al Pacino and Robert De Niro.
Then again, most actors would take a back seat to work with two legends. Anyway, Variety is reporting that Val Kilmer, 50 Cent, Sharon Stone, Dylan McDermott and Brian Presley will topline Nu Image/Millennium's action-drama 'Streets of Blood.'
'Streets' centers on the relationship between two police officers dealing with the lawlessness of New Orleans in the post-Katrina environment. Story's by Eugene Hess and Dennis Fanning, with Hess penning the screenplay.
Charles Winkler, son of Irwin Winker, is directing. The eight-week shoot will start next month.
No telling what role 50 Cent will play but I hope for his sake that it's not a drug dealer.

Not feelin this collabo with Stone in this upcoming flick. In my opinion, I don't think he's a good actor. "50" you need to stick to ya day job! This is a "MISSMATCH" and it's going to be a "FLOP"!
