From Jamie Foxx ('Ray') to Forest Whitaker ('The Last King of Scotland'), what actor wouldn't want a beautiful actress to play his wife?
Variety states that Kerry Washington has been cast to play Eddie Murphy's wife in 'A Thousand Words'.
The film revolves around Murphy, a savvy businessman who discovers he only has 'A Thousand Words' left to speak before he dies. Washington will play his wife who wants Murphy to spend more time with his family.
Washington next will star in 'Lakeview Terrace' with Samuel L. Jackson and will also be seen in Spike Lee's war film, 'Miracle at St. Anna'.
Murphy will be seen this summer in 'Meet Dave' with Gabrielle Union.

Who is really interested in a sperm donor who does not accept or respect his own child. I will not support anything that Murphy is involved in. The director's best move would be to replace he/she/it!!!

Eddie who? Why would such an accomplished and gifted actress demean herself and lower her standards. Eddie needs to stick to voice-over work no decent human being wants to see his face on screen. Call it a day Murphy. Work on respecting women and children.

That's not fair (Betlow2). Just think of it this way, what if your brother, son, or any one of your male relatives was put in his place-would you say the same bout them or would you take their side; against a sneaky, lowdown female who was out to make a NEW name because of her baby's daddy?
Mel B knew is was up to no good, and Eddie called her on it! Now who should be the blame? I don't agree-but at the same time-she(mel B) was being a no-good hoe. So Eddie stood his ground-and check your facts. He wants to see th kid-but Mel B is playing dirty baby momma games.
Now, what would you tell your brother, son, cousin, etc. to do? Kiss her azz? I think not!

Pub Em-you are half right. He should stick to voice work or 'fat-suit' gigs. But how can you respect a woman who is dragging you through the mud before you know he was the baby's daddy?
Na-Na-that sounds almost racist? Are you a dark skinned sista? Don't hate, it makes you look even uglier than you MIGHT be. Or take a look at other D-Washington.
Bottom line-don't throw rocks if you live in a glass house. I'm sure none of you are perfect-just like Eddie and me. And if you are perfect, why hasn't the WORLD heard of you???

Im trippin over these comments... just because Eddie wanted a blood test from his "jump-off" doesnt make him a unfit dad or a dad that neglects his kids.. just makes him stupid 4 goin raw inna chick he didnt trust. Eddie is a comedic genius period. Dont be so quick to get n2 personal affairs drivin by a biased media. Enjoy the flic.
