Before he married Mariah Carey and is now photographed everywhere he goes, Nick Cannon completed a small indie film called 'American Son'. It had premiered in competition at Sundance 2008 and still seeking a distributor.
Maybe his recent status will get the film above ground and in theaters.
Directed by Neil Abramson, the cast also includes Melonie Diaz, Matt O'Leary, Jay Hernandez, April Grace, Chi McBride, and Tom Sizemore.
A 19-year old (Cannon) who has enlisted to go to Iraq falls in love with a girl, but is afraid of not coming back alive.

wow the movie looks like its gonna be great.Hopefully it will cause they have a way of sometimes making previews look better than the movies.

The trailer looks to be something I would go see. I like most fo Nick Cannon's movies. I believe he was a good box office draw before Mariah Carey. Good Luck to them on there marriage because marriage is a challenge, I know because I married my best friend of seeventeen years an it's still hard seven years into it.
