Tamala Jones, who hasn't made the best film choices of late with roles in 'Who's Your Daddy?', 'Daddy Day Camp' and 'Confessions of a Call Girl', hopes to have her luck turn around with her next role.
The Hollywood Reporter states that Miss Jones has joined the cast of 'Janky Promoters', Ice Cube's latest comedy.
Jones, who appeared in 'Next Friday' with Cube, will play a police officer's wife who gets caught up with a couple of shady concert promoters (Cube and Mike Epps).
The Dimension Films project began shooting this past Monday.

I pray she does well. I love Tamala Jones, she is a talented actress. I think she and Taraji P. Henson are so underrated and deserved better leading roles.

I agree with you Faith. Tamala and Taraji are like the sister-girls next door. These women can really take on a part and make it look as if they are not acting at all. These sisters should be leading ladies, because they have surpassed the roles as co-stars with their talent.
