After making her film debut opposite her father Will Smith in the blockbuster hit 'I Am Legend', Willow Smith's next film should be more family oriented that her friends can come out and see her in, especially when she's featured with one of today's hottest child actors in the business, Abigail Breslin in 'Kit Kittredge: An American Girl'.
Also featured in the film are Joan Cusack, Glenne Headly, Jane Krakowski, Chris O'Donnell, Julia Ormond, Wallace Shawn, Stanley Tucci, Madison Davenport, Zach Mills, and Max Thieriot.

Academy Award nominee Abigail Breslin ('Little Miss Sunshine') will star as Kit Kittredge in the film. Produced by HBO Films, Elaine Goldsmith-Thomas and Marisa Yeres, from Goldsmith-Thomas Productions, in association with Julia Roberts and Lisa Gillan from Red Om Films, and Ellen L. Brothers of American Girl, Inc., the film is written by Ann Peacock and tells the story of the clever and resourceful Kit Kittredge, a nine-year-old girl growing up in 1934 during America's Great Depression.
Introduced in 2000 as the seventh American Girl historical character, Kit Kittredge will be the first one to have her story adapted for a theatrical film.
In the film, 10 year old Kit lives in a boarding house her parents own in Cincinnati, Ohio. She has a passion for writing, & dreams of having something of hers put in the local paper someday. With the help of her friends, Sterling & Ruthie, will her dream finally come true?
Willow plays a friend of Kit named Countee.

I don't think it was really a racist move, i just think she wasn't featured int he trailer because she might only have one scene. But why would aol give her her own page? hmm

I agree with Stone(#8). Willow is not a main character. Abigail plays Kit Kittredge. Putting Willow in the trailer is not only unnecessary but would probably over shadow the little girl who stars in the movie as the main character. Everything is not a racist move. Grant it..a lot of things are but certainly this is not one of them. Willow is probably only mentioned at all because she is the daughter of one of America's favorite actors.

It's a bit strange that the written piece in this blog was about Willow but the movie trailer showed no signs of her. Why use this piece of movie trailer without Willow in it if the blog is about Willow? The movie looks awefully lilly white to me. During those times, blacks were dealing with post slavery and racism. This concerns me about the kind of part Willow will play, though I truly believe that Will and Jada would not let Willow play some degrading role. Hummmm?

She's a nice talented girl but the weave is ugly and makes her look as if she stepped out of the ghetto. What happened tp her hair from in I Am Legend? I'm also annoyed that she was not in the commercial! She should have been!

What does everyone have to say now that the movie is out? Huh? The reason they didn't go crazy with promoting Willow is that in the movie, 'she' is a 'he' up until the end! They don't want to spoil the whole movie before it's released!! Try not to think of every action as so sinister!!
