While his status on CSI as Warrick Brown is still uncertain, despite being shot in the neck and left to die on the season cliffhanger, Gary Dourdan is moving to the next level of his career, doing more films.
He's about to do a film in France called 'Blackjack', a cross between a war film and a horror film. My character is a serviceman who goes in a French village and has to fight off zombies who were exposed to some chemical warfare.
He's also set to do the voice of Crispus Allen in the DVD animated film, 'Batman: Gotham Knight, which hits stores on July 8th.
While speaking to him recently, Dourdan also cleared the rumors as to his appearance on 'Celebrity Rehab'.
Are you confirmed to be participating in 'Celebrity Rehab' as reported on various places on the web such as IMDB and The National Inquirer?
Gary Dourdan: For the record, contrary to what's written on the web, I will not be doing any celebrity rehab. That's completely false.
This rehab situation is in regards to Gary being arrested in April for possession and was sentenced to a treatment program and no jail time.

I love me some Gary Dourdan. If he leaves CSI, I leave CSI. As much as I love that show, I mainly watch it because of Gary Dourdan. If they make the decision to release Dourdan, I hope Dourdan soars in the movies. I always felt he was made to be bigger than TV anyway. Heck I watched him from Different World to Lyric Cafe to CSI and will continue to watch whatever he's on. You are talented Dourdan! Keep it moving!

Gary Dourdan is a wonderful actor that has not yet reached his full potential. He is a sexy, talented, smart, beautiful brother. I thoroughly enjoy the work that he has done thus far and await all there is to come. A celebrity's personal life can affect their career, especially when there is negativity. Hopefully, as he matures fully into manhood (almost there), he will get better at separating his career from his personal life. In the short term, I hope he can clear up whatever unrest there is in his life. The death of our loved ones reminds us of how precious life really is to the living. As a fan in his large following, we cannot believe everything we read. So, I will hope for the best for Gary and his children who follow in his footsteps. I love to see our black men represent the positive - strong and firm, light and swift, loving and godfearing.

Mr. Dourdan is a superb actor and justifiably classed as a superstar, however with that comes an enormous amount of presure like most of us ordinary folk will never experience and yes he made a mistake, I now hope the so called papaRATzi give the man a break and allow him to sort himself out, I wish him all the best and look forward to him continuing his acting career in bringing so much enjoyment to all us ordinary folk.
