According to blogsite the young, black, and fabulous , while chatting with actress Tasha Smith in New Orleans at Essence Music Festival 2008, she mentioned to them that she's set to make her directorial feature debut with a film called 'Family'.
It will be an an inspirational and uplifting film that stars Bow Wow, Sharon Leal, and her twin sister, Sidra.
In the meantime, Smith can next be seen on the big screen in August when she appears opposite Ice Cube, Jill Marie Jones and Keke Palmer in 'The Longshots'.
Smith was one of the few actresses who broke out in 2007 with roles in both Tyler Perry's Daddy's Little Girls and Why Did I Get Married?
She is currently shooting 'Pastor Brown' with Rockmond Dunbar directing and Salli Richardson, Nicole Ari Parker, and Tisha Campbell among the cast.

I thought Tasha Smiths twin was Khandi Alexander from CSI:Miami. When I place the photos of each together, they don't look anything alike. Just how wrong could I have been.

Although I like Tasha Smith, especially in ATL, I think that she could pull it off as Donna Summer, but as far as the look, the similarities lie closer to Kelly Rowland of Destiny's Child. Kelly does, in my opinion have great acting skills, just by some of the sitcoms that's she's worked on "Girlfriend" for example.

hello tasha, you don't remember me but, we went to school together at kane business institute about 23 yrs ago.I am sooo glad you did what you set your heart out to do!It's truly a small world because, i had honor to meet a bery beautiful young lady by the name of Dana & found out that she is a good friend of yours.To sum this up,you are an inspiration to many strong black women!!
