Chris Brown To Star Opposite Idris Elba In 'Bone Deep'

After making his film debut in 'Stomp The Yard' and then having a bigger role in 'This Christmas', both produced by Rainforest Films' Will packer, Chris Brown is broading his horizons and getting into that field as well. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Brown is in final negotiations to appear alongside Matt Dillon, Idris Elba and rapper T.I. in the Screen Gems thriller 'Bone Deep'. Brown also is in talks to executive produce.

The film, directed by John Lussenhop, revolves around a group of criminals who plan a major heist at a money depot, with two detectives hot on their trail.

Brown will play one of the members of the heist crew. Matt Dillon stars as Los Angeles Detective Jack Welles, a troubled workaholic who pursues the gang of robbers.
