Coming out in November is another film directed by Malcolm D. Lee. 'Soul Men' stars Samuel L. Jackson, Bernie Mac, Sean Hayes, Sharon Leal, Jennifer Coolidge, Isaac Hayes, Affion Crockett, John Legend, Adam Herschman, Fatso Fasano, and Jackie Long.
'Soul Men' is about two former backup soul singers Louis (Samuel L. Jackson) and Floyd (Bernie Mac) who travel cross country to perform at a tribute concert in honor of their famous former band leader, played by John Legend. They haven't spoken to each other in 20 years but reluctantly agree to travel together for the tribute performance. Both Jackson and Mac will do their own musical and dance performing in the film.
Earlier this year, Lee had directed 'Welcome Home Roscoe Jenkins' with Martin Lawrence, while Jackson was seen 'Jumper' and 'The Cleaner', both of which are now available on DVD.

It is a very sad and depressing week already with Hollywoods two Icons gone back to back like that and that they ironically co-starred in the same film. I hope that there is no delay on seeing this movie for now it is even more of a "MUST-SEE" than it probably already was before! Rest in peace to Bernie Mac and Issac Hayes.. you will be truly missed!!!!

I think it would be cool to pray for this cast and anyone that has anything to do with this film in particular. Being that Samuel L. Jackson was in an acident last week, and Bernie Mack and Isaac Hayes Both died last week.. Could be just happen stance but prayer is always in order even if you don't pray.... may God we can at least say it's interesting huh? Blessings,
Andre`

I think that Bernie Mac and Isaac Hayes are two of the most talented people of my generation, along with Sam L. Jackson. The world is a little less talented with the loss of these two.
to bigdrob1: He may well have been run out of town, straight to college in Atlanta where he graduated from with a degree. That's where he learned to spell, properly punctuate a sentence and use proper english.
