Taye Diggs And Lawrence Fishburne Featured in 'Days of Wrath'

Currently playing at the New York International Latino Film Festival is a film that features lots of actors as well as rappers who are looking to get a fresh start to a new career.

Directed by Celia Fox, 'Days of Wrath' features Wilmer Valderrama, Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Laurence Fishburne, Taye Diggs, Brandon T. Jackson, Amber Valletta, Doug Hutchison, Faizon Love, Ana Claudia Talancon, Lupe Ontiveros, Jesse Garcia, Ricardo Chavira, Kurupt, David Banner, and Rick Ross.

The film revolves around a wide group of interconnected Los Angelenos who struggle to survive as a war between a Latino and black gang ravages the city. Valderrama plays Daniel, a thug who sets off the gang war after stealing a rapper's car and accidentally killing the mother of his own Latino gang's kingpin (Garcia).

Fishburne plays a teacher, mentor and voice of reason to the warring gang members. Ontiveros plays the kingpin's grandmother. Morgan plays a ruthless TV producer romantically involved with his anchorwoman (Valletta) who sends his correspondent (Talancon) and her cameraman (Kurupt) into the crossfire. He seeks to exploit the turmoil for ratings even after discovering that the murdered woman is his ex-lover and the kingpin is his son. Banner, Ross and Thomas play members of the black gang.

The festival runs from July 22 - 27, 2008, at the following venues: Clearview Cinemas (1871 Broadway at 62nd St.), Directors Guild of America Theater (110 W. 57th St., bet. 6th & 7th Aves.), Fordham University: Lincoln Center Campus (113 W. 60th St. bet. 9th & 10th Aves.), Helen Mills Theatre (137-139 W. 26th St. bet. 6th & 7th Aves.), ImaginAsian Theater (239 E. 59th Street), QUAD Cinemas (34 W. 13th St., bet. 5th & 6th Aves.), Thomas Jefferson Park (2180 First Ave. bet. 112th & 114th Sts.). Panels take place at HBO (1100 Ave. of Americas bet. 42nd & 43rd Sts.) and Showbiz Software (19 W. 21st St. bet.
