With the Fall season just about to arrive, folks are waiting for the next Tyler Perry film, and just to give you a taste of what to expect from his next film, 'The Family That Preys', Lionsgate has provided Blackvoices with this exclusive clip from the film that features Sanaa Lathan, Alfre Woodard, and Taraji P, Henson.
The sixth feature film by Perry chronicles the inner workings of two families-one upper-crust and the other working class-that become inextricably linked by scandal.
Wealthy socialite Charlotte Cartwright (Kathy Bates) and her dear friend Alice Pratt (Alfre Woodard), a working class woman of high ideals, have enjoyed a lasting friendship throughout many years. Suddenly, their lives become mired in turmoil as their adult children's extramarital affairs, unethical business practices and a dark paternity secret threaten to derail family fortunes and unravel the lives of all involved.

Tyler, love all your productions, but sadly I usually have to wait until they come out on DVD because we live in a rural (mostly white and redneck) so your movies don't show at the local theatre.

I really love the Tyler Perry plays and movies. They have the perfect subliminal message everytime and they show the positive side of characters that are usually stereotyped. I saw a great blog on www.urbanthoughtcollective.com from a woman that interviewed Tyler Perry about this movie and other stuff...go check it out!

I think this movie will do great. Tyler Perry has been on a roll lately with the hit t.v. show and success of previous movies and line of DvDs. He has even made it to be the face of a few blog sites such as bloxilla and www.urbanthoughtcollective.com where they has a whole photo gallery of him and his works Much Props to Tyler Perry! keep it up!
