Golden Brooks and Keith David are attached to star in Robert O' Hara's feature film directing debut with the horror film 'My Place In The Horror'. The film will be produced by Effie T. Brown and her production company, Duly Noted Inc..

O'Hara is known mostly as a theater director He has directed around the country, and his plays have been produced around the world and he has been awarded numerous grants and fellowships.He wrote and directed the World Premiere of Insurrection: Holding History at the New York Shakespeare Festival/Public Theater; the piece received the Oppenheimer Award for Best New American Play and was subsequently published by both Theater Communications Group and an Acting Edition by Dramatist Play Service.

David, who has numerous films to his credit, was last seen on the big screen opposite Ice Cube in 'First Sunday', while Brooks, who's mostly known for her role as Maya Wilkes on TV's Girlfriends, was in the independent film 'A Good Man is Hard To Find' with Hill Harper. Both films are now on DVD.

Shooting will begin in December in New Mexico.
