Shocktilyoudrop.com just released the poster to the third installment of the 'Underworld' franchise - 'Underworld: Rise of the Lycans'. Returning to the film are Michael Sheen as Lucian, Bill Nighy as Viktor and Rhone Mitra is joining the group as Viktor's daughter Sonja and Lucian's secret lover.

Also returning in the film is Kevin Grevioux as the black lycan Raze . Not many people may be aware that it was Kevin's screenplay that started the franchise. He came up with the original premise and wrote the original screenplay along with director Len Wiseman. He wasn't featured in the sequel 'Underworld: Evolution'.

The prequel story traces the origins of the centuries-old blood feud between the aristocratic vampires known as Death Dealers and their onetime slaves, the Lycans. In the Dark Ages, a young Lycan named Lucian (Sheen) emerges as a powerful leader who rallies the werewolves to rise up against Viktor (Nighy), the cruel vampire king who has enslaved them. Lucian is joined by his secret lover, Sonja (Mitra), in his battle against the Death Dealer army and his struggle for Lycan freedom.

'Underworld: Rise of the Lycans' comes out on January 23, 2009.
