Variety states that the Oscar winner is set to star in ''Who Is Doris Payne?' a Eunetta Boone-scripted fact-based film about an international jewel thief whose career spanned five decades.
The project is being developed by J2 partners Justin Berfield and Jason Felts.
Payne, a woman from Slab Fork, W.Va., who would confuse store owners and then her walk away with diamond rings, spent five decades plying her trade across the US and Europe. She used at least 22 aliases and worked as far afield as Greece, France, England and Switzerland. She generally operated on her own and relied on store staff forgetting how many rings she had tried on in order to walk away with the goods.

Halle,one hell of a great lady! It should not matter to any of us who she's with, she's happy and that is what matters. Halle's partner has his own thing going and it sure doesn't look like he needs her money to make it. There baby is an amazing looking child and we all should be happy for her.

Victor you are right on point. Halle is a lovely lady that gave love, and just wanted to be loved, as all of us humans want, and I for one certainly hope she is happy, and is getting the love she much deserves. As for her movies, she's had some good, and some bad but so has the rest of Hollywood and what ppl do not seem to realize is no matter what we still have to keep food on the table, and for actors they must stay in the limelight.

America is called the melting pot. For those of us who for appearances sake are classified as black, unless you were born in the Motherland of two parents who for generations ancestors were from the homeland, speak with untruth when we only identify ourselves as African American. On the other side of the isle are those of us who by appearance appear to be Caucasian are by genetical make-up more black than white. We tend to forget that periodically in a family that has features that tend to totally identify with the black race, there is on occasion when the recessive Caucasion or Indian gene makes itself known in a newborn, leading to specuation and inference of infidelity. It does not matter what we appear to be outwardly, it matters most who we are as a human being within our hearts and spirit. We are too busy judging by the outward appearance than by trying to be the best person we can be no matter our race, color, creed or ethnicity. We all need to get a life, love has no faults, love does not see color, religion or politics. Halle did not choose her current partner because of color, she is with him because of his showing her true love, fidelity and happiness to date. We should all hope that we have an opportunity to experience love and a truly fulfilling relationship in our lifetimes even if it doesn't last forever.

Halle has a look on her now that she never had before, and that is a good thing.I am so happy for her because it appear she really has a man who love and respect her. They have one amazing looking child that complements both of them, now who could ask for anything better than that? Halle, keep that special glow, it becomes you!!!
