What to Watch: Observe and Report, Doubt & Skid Row

If you happened to see 'Paul Blart: Mall Cop,' then 'Observe and Report' is completely the opposite in terms of its rating. This R-rated film stars Seth Rogen as bipolar mall security guard Ronnie Barnhardt, who is called into action to stop a flasher from turning a shopper's paradise into his personal peep show.

But when Barnhardt can't bring the culprit to justice, a surly police detective is recruited to close the case. Also featured in the film are Anna Faris, Michael Pena, Ray Liotta and Jesse Plemons.

Out on DVD and Blu-ray is 'Doubt,' the film that garnered Viola Davis an Academy Award nomination. Directed by John Patrick Shanley, the film also landed Oscar nominations for Meryl Streep, Philip Seymour Hoffman and Amy Adams. Set in 1964, the film is about a nun who confronts a priest after she suspects him of abusing a black student. He denies the charges, and much of the play's quick-fire dialogue tackles the themes of religion, morality and authority.

There's a cool documentary called 'Skid Row,' in which Prakazrel Michel, better known as Pras from the Fugees, goes undercover to explore the life of the homeless. While living on the streets for nine days, Pras learns not only how to fend for himself but also discovers the dark, very human and humorous underbelly of Los Angeles.
