Last night, Vibe magazine and Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment threw an event to celebrate the DVD release of 'Notorious,' the critically acclaimed biopic based on the life of hip-hop icon Christopher "Notorious B.I.G." Wallace.
With the music provided by guest DJ Nick Cannon, the event took place at Pink Elephant in New York City.
In attendance were 'Notorious' actors Jamal Woolard, Antonique Smith, Naturi Naughton, Dennis L.A. White, director George Tillman Jr. and producer Wayne Barrow. Also stopping by were Lil' Cease and model Toccara Jones.
The 'Notorious' DVD will be released everywhere on April 21.

Released in January, the film grossed $43 million worldwide.
In the film, newcomers Woolard stars as Notorious B.I.G., Smith as Faith Evans and Naughton as Lil' Kim. Veterans Angela Bassett stars as Christopher's mother, Voletta Wallace; Derek Luke as Sean Combs; and Anthony Mackie as Tupac Shakur.

Peace,
I really enjoyed seeing this movie when it first came out. I was inspired to turn my whole life around by the deaths of Tupac and Biggie. I didn't want to be another statistic in the system or dead. So, I am always grateful for not only the great music provided but life lessons(positive and negative) learned from both brothers
I hope this movie will inspire a brother or sister to know that if you have a dream no matter what(college, business, financial, relationship, community) and apply yourself you can make your dream concrete reality as Biggie did with being a rap star(his dream).
Peace
Brother Mustafaa

Mustafaa,
I am happy that you turned your life around but, it shouldn't have taken Tupac and Biggie to do that? You said, "So, I am always grateful for not only the great music provided but life lessons(positive and negative) learned from both brothers". The best way to learn about life lessons is to study, meditate, and get the "Word" in your heart. The "Word" has all the ANSWERS.
Men or Woman should want to be just like GOD. He is our ROLE MODEL. If I am in any trouble and need somebody to help and guide me in any bad and difficult situations in life, it is GOD. God listens and speaks. He is our MAIN and ONLY SOURCE.
Peace!
