Another Black rapper? You must be white. It's okay for Jack Nicholson,Christen Bale, and Bruce Willis to be in violent films, and their intellect is never questioned. Hey look at Heath Ledger(r.i.p.) he WON an Oscar for playing a murderous psyco, but that's ok right? Even if you aren't white, you sound ignorant. I bet if Common was rapping about bitches and hoes you would love him then. He's acting get over it.

to Shawmart:
Jack Nicholson , and Christian Bale don't try to act intellectual like Common does. Common is a horrible rapper I can't name one of his songs even when he was Common sense. He portrays that he is different and has deep thoughts but he would play in any movie he would get offered.

Greg,
If you can't name one of his songs, even when he was Common Sense, how do you know what he "portrays" or what his thoughts are about. Since I do, he claims to be a thespian and preachs about Black on Black crime and American injustices. If the brother wants to act...simply don't watch. What's so bad about playing a love interest? As Shawmart was implying... Please...PLEASEEEE dont flaunt your ignorance. It's sickening!

I don't understand why a person of your "intelect" would waiste thier time on this topic. In my opinion, you must be a very lonely, hateful, semi-racist. Hey I'm not a fan of Common, but I do listen to some mainstream rap. I've seen many movies and some tv shows where there are rock stars pretending to be intelectuals or just plain mad men. Where's your critique on them? Your comments are so one-sided it's pathetic. By the way, "acting like animals"? Please, give me a break! No one seems to mention the obscure negativity of "The Smashing Pumpkins", "Rancid", and many other white boys smashing their heads into walls and screaming demonic jibberish. Maybe you should focus on how little white girls view Britney Spears as a role model while she's swallowing a bucket of fried chicken and shaking her "motherly" rump on every video and concert. BY the way, we all know good white girls like Spears and Paris Hilton NEVER wear weaves.... right?

Get real, Brit was bald and three months later had hair down her back. I wasn't justifying Beyonce's fakeness, simply showing you that it's not only black stars that are fake or "animalistic". Oh and don't TRY to prejudge me by the music I know. I just find your comments tacky at best. I hope that movie turns out great with or without common. I hope you shed a few racist pounds and I hope the "friends" sitcom turns into a movie before I'm thirty.

Like I said, I don't know why you're here. I don't jutify Beyonce's fakeness, nor do I deny the truth like you do. Brit went bald and three months later had hair down her back. When Paris was arrested it was all over the news and net about how the police let her keep her weave in for her mug shot. Get real, white or not celebrities are fake, so don't judge the black ones for playing the same games as the white ones do. But hey, you are one-sided so what can I expect? I feel your comments are tacky at best and should be left at the supremist web-sites. By the way, don't try to prejudge me by the music I know, it just make you look foolish. All I'm saying is, I hope the movie turns out great with or without Common. I hope you shed a few racist pounds, and I hope they make a movie out of the "Friends" sitcom.

To Gomez,
You just can't get over the fact that there is something called REAL hair. Ever heard of Jennifer Garner, Gwenyth Paltrow, Kim Basinger , Julia Roberts, Tiffany Cox, Megan Fox, Angelina Jolie, Jennifer Love Hewitt, and every other celeb besides Brittney, and Paris Hilton.
Do you like or dislike "Friends" I don't get your point.
