Coming out this week is 'The Goods: Live Hard, Sell Hard,' with Jeremy Pivens, Ed Helms, Ving Rhames, James Brolin, David Koechner, Kathryn Hahn, Jordana Spiro and Ken Jeong.
When he's asked to help save an ailing car dealership from bankruptcy, Don Ready (Piven) and his ragtag crew descend on the town of Temecula like a pack of coyotes on a basket full of burgers. Selling, drinking and going to strip clubs is their stock and trade. And they do it well. But what Don doesn't expect is to fall in love and find his soul (cue heartfelt piano).

Released last week on DVD and Blu-ray is the 'The Soloist,' starring Jamie Foxx and Robert Downey Jr. The film is based on the true story of musical prodigy Nathaniel Ayers, who develops schizophrenia in his second year at Juilliard and ends up homeless on the streets of downtown L.A., where he plays the violin and cello. The drama is based on the relationship the musician developed with Steve Lopez, a reporter whose column informed the script, as did a book he wrote and published in the spring. Directed by Joe Wright, the film also stars Catherine Keener, Stephen Root and Lisa Gay Hamilton.
'Second Skin' takes an intimate look at three sets of computer gamers whose lives have been transformed by online virtual worlds. An emerging genre of computer software called Massively Multiplayer Online games, or MMOs, allows millions of users to interact simultaneously in virtual spaces. Of the 50 million players worldwide, 50 percent consider themselves addicted. From couples who have fallen in love without meeting to disabled players whose lives have been given new purpose, 'Second Skin' opens viewers' eyes to a phenomenon that may permanently change the way humans interact.
