At the end of the day, it's all about the performance.
While others may care about whether she comes out to promote her work or not, critics pay no heed to that and have spoken when it comes to MoNique and her searing performance in the drama 'Precious: Based on the Novel 'Push' by Sapphire.'
Over the weekend and today, the funnywoman won the Best Supporting Award from both the Los Angeles Film Critics Association and the New York Film Critics Circle. She also won the award from the Boston Film Critics and the New York Film Critics Online.
After many articles were written about her lack of promotion, the words have not stuck or stayed dry. While other categories have had different winners from the respective groups, the Baltimore, Maryland native seems to be the safe bet to choose on when it comes to her acting skills.
Her closest competitors are Anna Kendrick and Vera Farmiga, the two ladies in 'Up in the Air.' Both were equally good in their roles, and will cancel each other out. Mo'Nique's "You're a dummy," line is scary and memorable in the Oprah Winfrey/Tyler Perry-produced film.
The accolades are only just beginning. She's also nominated in the 15th Annual Critics' Choice Movie Awards for Best Supporting Actress, and expected to get a Golden Globes nod to come shortly.

Poverty and unemployment are carnage for them. More than seventy percent people are like a yield for micro finance even during seasonal unemployment. Many consumers are unemployed and having a hard time managing their finances. One of the ways to help the problem is to consider relocating to cities where jobs are plentiful. It's particularly the cities where the industries are diverse that offer the best job opportunities and seem to be far more stable as economies fluctuate. Relocating might be a solution worth exploring for people looking for debt relief.
