There are plenty of returning TV shows returning this month and one is the eighth season of Fox's '24,' premiering on Sunday, January 17 at 9/8c.

Kiefer Sutherland returns as Jack Bauer.

Set in New York City, "Day Eight" unfolds amidst the shadows of the Statue of Liberty and the United Nations as President Allison Taylor (played by Cherry Jones), alongside new chief of staff Rob Weiss (played by Chris Diamantopoulos), negotiates international security with Omar Hassan (played by 'Slumdog Millionaire's Anil Kapoor), a determined Middle Eastern leader visiting the U.S. on a peacemaking mission. As the new day begins, an upgraded CTU operates under the command of M.B.A.-schooled, razor-sharp head honcho Brain Hastings (played by Mykelti Williamson), who supervises quirky Chloe O'Brian (played Mary Lynn Rajskub), expert data analyst Dana Walsh (played by Katee Sackhoff) and systems analyst Arlo Glass (played by John Boyd).

Cole Ortiz (played by Freddie Prinze Jr.), an ex-Marine who wants to follow in Bauer's footsteps, leads field operations while Agent Renee Walker (played by Annie Wersching) returns with an agenda of her own.

Out on home video is 'Tyler Perry's I Can Do Bad All By Myself,' starring Taraji P. Henson, Adam Rodriguez, Tyler Perry, Brian White, Hope Olaidé Wilson, and iconic singers Mary J. Blige and Gladys Knight.

When Madea, America's favorite pistol-packing grandma, catches sixteen-year-old Jennifer and her two younger brothers looting her home, she decides to take matters into her own hands and delivers the young delinquents to the only relative they have: their aunt April.

A heavy-drinking nightclub singer who lives off of her married boyfriend Randy, April wants nothing to do with the kids. However, her attitude begins to change when Sandino, a handsome Mexican immigrant looking for work, moves into April's basement room. Making amends for his own troubled past, Sandino challenges April to open her heart.

April soon realizes she must make the biggest choice of her life: between her old ways with Randy and the new possibilities of family, faith...and even true love.

'Biggie and Tupac' is a no holds barred investigation into the still unsolved murders of two of the biggest superstars rap has ever produced; Christopher Wallace, aka Biggie Smalls, and Tupac Shakur.

Answering the crusading calls for justice from Biggie's mother Voletta Wallace, Broomfield hits the streets from East Coast to West Coast, putting his own life at risk as he uncovers sensational new evidence that points directly to the involvement of the LAPD and imprisoned Death Row records co-founder Marion 'Suge' Knight in the violent slayings that shocked the hip hop world.
