Valentine's Day is upon us. And that signals a season of love. Why not really help bring it in with a special treat from the one and only Tyler Perry?
Lionsgate has provided Black Voices with some exclusive images from 'Tyler Perry's Why Did I Get Married Too?,' which reunites the acclaimed filmmaker with Sharon Leal, Janet Jackson, Malik Yoba, Jill Scott, Lamman Rucker, Richard T. Jones, Tasha Smith, and Michael Jai White.
Starring the same cast and characters from his 2007 hit comedy/drama, ''Why Did I Get Married?' the sequel brings us the next chapter in the lives of eight college friends struggling with the challenges of marital life.

Gathered together in the Bahamas for their annual one-week reunion, four close couples eagerly reconnect, sharing news about their lives and relationships. But their intimate week in paradise is disrupted by the unexpected arrival of Scott's character Sheila's ex-husband, Mike (played by Jones), who hopes to break up her new marriage with Troy (played by Rucker) and win her back. The others soon realize they too are not immune to the challenges of commitment and fidelity. Angela (played by Smith) doesn't believe her husband, Marcus (played by White), can be faithful now that he's a celebrity television newscaster. Dianne (played by Leal) and Terry's relationship is feeling the strain of raising children. And Jackson's Patricia, a successful self-help psychologist, must finally reveal the deep flaws in her seemingly perfect marriage to Yoba's Gavin. With their relationships hanging in the balance when they return home, each couple must choose between blame and forgiveness, doubt and faith, with life-altering consequences.
Although the original film was an adaptation of the stage production with the same name, the sequel is an original concept written by Perry, who portrays Terry. This is also the fourth film of Perry's that doesn't include his Madea character.

Bringing in $55 million dollars from the box office after its release in 2007, 'Why Did I Get Married?' is the third highest grossing film of Perry's films, behind 'Madea's Family Reunion' ($63 million) and 'Madea Goes to Jail.' ($90.5 million).
Emmy Award winning diva Cicley Tyson and Academy Award winner Louis Gossett, Jr. are also in the cast.
Lionsgate will release the film on April 2.

Not only did the New Orleans native write all of the storylines for the films, he starred in four. And with the major money train also comes associating with some of the biggest names in and out of the entertainment business. BlackVoices.com takes an introspective look at how a former homeless man turned chit'lin circuit theater czar has connections to the likes of Michael Jackson, Denzel Washington, Whitney Houston and Will Smith, to name a few. David,
why all the hate brother? The man is doing big things and bringing awareness to the general public the good, bad, and the ugly of "real" relationships that most people don't wanna talk about concerning love, and family. I feel you and you're entitled to your opinion, but you have to read between lines in what Tyler Perry is trying to do. Be blessed man.

David is sorta right, Tyler movies are terriable, but the majority love his flims him and Oprah work together, I don't think they'll ever make a really good film, the acting is bad, it kinda like a B film pretending to be a A listed film , he stinks of same old Stereyotpe single black women whoa is me, him and Steve Hervey are distusting, their the type you wish would go away, there playing with your head's that's why you have older single black women, there mind set's are backwards.
