'Legacy' starring Idris Elba, and Ice Cube's documentary, 'Straight Outta L.A,' will makes their worldwide premieres at the Tribeca/ESPN Sports Film Festival on April 23.

The Tribeca Film Festival runs from April 21 through May 2 in Downtown New York City.

In 'Legacy,' Black Ops operative Malcolm Gray (played by Elba) returns home after a botched mission in Eastern Europe. Holed up in a Brooklyn motel room, he is torn between retribution and personal salvation as he mentally unravels. When the walls close in, his story may be all he can leave behind.

Directed by Thomas Ikimi, the film also stars Eamonn Walker, Monique Gabriela Curnen, and Clarke Peters of HBO's 'The Wire.'

Cube's documentary, which was produced by ESPN Films, chronicles the NFL team, the Raiders' move in 1982 from Oakland to L.A., where the football team captivated black and Latino fans at a time of great unrest.

According to Variety, the L.A. Raiders morphed into a worldwide brand before returning to Oakland, with the team's colors and anti-establishment ethos becoming inextricably linked to the hip-hop scene of South Central Los Angeles. Ice Cube observed the team's influence first-hand as a member of the notorious rap group N.W.A.

This is Ice Cube's second directorial effort after 1998's 'The Players Club.'
