Today is the day that 'One Tree Hill's Antwon Tanner reports to jail.
The 35-year old Chicago native was sentenced by a Brooklyn judge, last January, to three months in prison for dealing in stolen Social Security numbers.
Tanner will additionally serve five months in home detention after he's released from his stint in jail.
Known by his role as Antwon 'Skills' Taylor on the hit CW show, the promising actor was arrested on April 16, 2009, and was accused by federal authorities of "knowingly and intentionally" transferring Social Security cards "with intent to defraud." He subsequently admitted to selling more than a dozen Social Security numbers for $10,000 to an undercover agent.
His film roles include 'Sunset Park,' 'Coach Carter,' and 'Never Die Alone.'

For what he did, had he been joe average black guy there is no doubt he would've got some serious time for hawking social security cards. I'm not saying 3 months is a picnic but joe average would've got probable 2 to 5 years in federal prison.

I can't believe this. This is a freaking shame! First of all he is so much older than I thought. At 35 years old he knows better then to sale social security cards. Just going around getting peoples credit all screwed up. This guy is an idiot. I'm just SMH over this idiot. And all he gets is 3 months in jail. Oh we all know he sold somebody out. I feel sorry for him.

the white people will pounce on this. all they need is any excuse to spew their hatred for blacks and ignore the fact that their people commit even more wicked acts than this.
