I am looking forward to this film! I am a fan of Common and he is one of the few "artist" that I even allow my children to listen too. I am especially excited for my son to see him choose a woman that is African American and most importantly "not the stereotypical/mainstream" beauty that is typically associated with film. Kudos to them both..and they couldnt have chosen a better actress to portray Latifah's character..I LOVE IT!

Another bball movie? Please can we do something different? Why must our films be so typical and predictable? This is why most movies with a largely Black cast are just not good. We cover the same old tired topics time after time.
I got an idea. I'm going to see Fences on Broadway, why not make that story into a movie? How many of us will RUN out to see that?

I cant wait to see that movie cuz i think the Queen is a awesome actress and my kids love her and her musica and i like her as well. I have 2 of her movies also and i watch them all the time cuz they are really good movies and i would watch eney movie or show that she plays in i think she is that good at what she dose so if i new every time she was in something i would watch it with no problem at all.
