Black Voices has learned that Melee Entertainment will be releasing the anticipated urban drama 'Love Chronicles: Secrets Revealed' on DVD in July.
The film stars Ving Rhames, Vivica Fox, Mike Epps, Rockmond Dunbar and Elise Neal.
It's the follow up to the first 'Love Chronicles' installment, which stars Terrence Howard, Robin Givens and LisaRaye. The first chapter continues to be a staple on TV and DVD.

Directed by Tyler Maddox Simms, this romantic "dramedy" is set at Los Angeles radio station KLUV, where callers air their dirty laundry over the airwaves for all to hear. Over the course of one crazy day, show host and "relationship expert" Darren (Dunbar) and Janet (Fox) have had another one of their epic fights that threatens to end their marriage and make a joke of Darren's career. At the radio station, street author Thomas Black (Epps) advises cougar Monique (Neal) how to stay married, while DJ Mike V (Ving Rhames) helps out the good girl who falls for the bad boy from the other side of the tracks.

I never saw the first one, I plan on getting both of them, with all the big names in this movie why has it not made it to the big screen?, why does an all black cast in a movie always get turned down for the big screen? it seems like the only black movies that make it to the big screen these days are tyler perry movies. (he owns his own studio)

I never really saw the first one either. Actually straight to dvd is a huge market that can be even more profitable than being released in movie theaters. Looks like a good cast & movie. Vivica stays on her grind though.
