Columbia Pictures has released two clips from the remake of 'The Karate Kid,' starring Jaden Smith and Jackie Chan.
The movie follows 12-year-old Dre Parker (Smith), who could've been the most popular kid in Detroit, but his mother's (Taraji P. Henson) latest career move has landed him in China. Dre immediately falls for his classmate Mei Ying – and the feeling is mutual – but cultural differences make such a friendship impossible. Even worse, Dre's feelings make an enemy of the class bully, Cheng. In the land of kung fu, Dre knows only a little karate, and Cheng puts "the karate kid" on the floor with ease. With no friends in a strange land, Dre has nowhere to turn but maintenance man Mr. Han (Chan), who is secretly a master of kung fu. As Han teaches Dre that kung fu is not about punches and parries, but rather maturity and calm, Dre realizes that facing down the bullies will be the fight of his life.
Columbia Pictures will release the film on June 11.

Oh great, another classic re-made and ruined with a Negro in it. First Wild Wild West and now Karate Kid.
As if anyone would believe a Negro decked out in western wear working for the President in the 1800's!

Well that is the point you don’t know your history. I did not say why they were called Buffalo Soldiers and they were because of their hair. But Moses grew on up in Pharaoh’s home as an Egyptian but he was a Hebrew. Moses was married to the descendant of Esau. Aaron rebuked Moses because he was married to a black woman. If the Hebrews and the Egyptian looked alike then they were of the same color. Apparently you have not been to the Middle East. The princes of Kuwait are as dark as me. All civilizations came from Noah 3 sons, Ham, Sham, and Japheth. How is it that these three sons populate the whole earth?
Let me enlighten you. In the garden of Eden God created Adam he made him from the dirt of the ground. Adam was black. He created Eve from the bone of man which is ivory. Eve was white.
All of Ham descendants were black. The name given, in Psalms 105:23,17; 106:22 (compare 78:51), to Egypt as a descendant of Ham, son of Noah. As Shem means "dusky," or the like, and Japheth "fair," it has been supposed that Ham meant, as is not improbable, "black." This is supported by the evidence of Hebrew and Arabic, in which the word chamam means "to be hot" and "to be black," the latter signification being derived from the former.
It is interesting to note that the Biblical record defines Egypt as the Land of Ham.
-- Psalm 105: 23 "Israel also came into Egypt...the land of Ham." First on the list, as being the darkest, is Cush or Ethiopia (Genesis 10:6), after which comes Mitsrayim, or Egypt, then PuT or Libyia, and Canaan last. The sons or descendants of each of these are then taken in turn, and it is noteworthy that some of them, like the Ethiopians and the Canaanites, spoke Semitic, and not Hamitic, languages--Seba (if connected with the Sabeans), Havilah (Yemen), and Sheba, whose queen visited Solomon. Professor Sayce, moreover, has pointed out that Caphtor is the original home of the Phoenicians, who spoke a Semitic language.
The African race came from Ham descendant Nemrod who was a black man began to build the tower of Babel. He was about to built a one world empire. God came down and changed the languages to prevent them from doing so. The races then scattered.
Japheth descents which are white people went to Europe the Caucus Mountains. This name, in Genesis 9:27, seems to be explained by the phrase "may God make wide (yapht, the American Standard Revised Version "enlarge") for Japheth," where yapht and Japheth are represented by the same consonants, but with different vowel-points. The root of yapht is pathach, "to make wide."
The immediate descendants of Japheth were seven in number, and are represented by the nations designated Gomer, Magog, Madai, Javan, Tubal, Mesech, and Tiras; or, roughly, the Armenians, Lydians, Medes, Greeks, Tibarenians, and Moschians, the last, Tiras, remaining still obscure. The sons of Gomer (Ashkenaz, Riphath and Togarmah) were al

Is this "Jaden Smith" a boy or a girl?
I can't tell.
Oh well, the truth is that it doesn't matter. All that matters is they've got a Negro in this re-make, and so it's politically correct now.

@ BillSchrier .... REALLY . You take the time out to suscbribe to AOL's BV so you can be heard from behind a screename and profile because you are spinnless, simple minded and have no balls to ever be man enough to say those things in a "negro's" face. The other sad part about the whole thing is that AOL / Black Voice (which is really ran by the typical lilly white board room capitalize off / pimp the urban market and dollar) and allow these comments to post to draw attention and light to your ignorate azz. FYI .... Jaden Smith is a enducated, intellegent and RICH african american BOY. Something your simple minded, trailor park trash and back woods azz REALLY will never be any of those things ... educated, intellegent, rich or african aemerican. Thank God for small favors .... LOLOL

Bill, let me tell you a real story since you want to believe his story. In 1800 in the West the US Army consisted of the 9th and 10th Calvary and the 24th and 25th Infantry and all of these soldiers were African American. They fought in many Indian Wars across the west. The Native Americans called them the “Buffalo Soldiers”. 14 of these black soldiers won the Congressional Medal of Honor. The Apache tribe had an African American Indian chief name John Horse. You had an African American cowboy name Nat Love who was friends with Billie Kid and Frank and Jessie James. (Katz, W. 1974) Although the movie Wild Wild West is fiction, an African American is easily could have been Jim West.
In Oregon in 1876, you had an African American by the name of George William Bush and his wife and kids who led white settlers into Oregon.. Bush owned 640 acres of land because his friend Colonel Michael Simmons was a member of Oregon State Legislature that had the law changed where African Americans could own land. The Bush family became very wealthy. One of Bush son’s developed a prize winning wheat crop. Another one of his sons was elected to the state legislature. The Bush Prairie is name after Bush. (Katz, W .1974)

Well, I'll agree you're telling me a "story", but I don't agree that you're telling me a "true story".
Just like your Black History Month fiction, you've parroted another black myth. The myth of the "buffalo soldier". These myths, inflating the truth or just plain lying, are propagated to give blacks something to be proud about, doesn't matter they're not true. Just like Kwanzaa is a made-up holiday, doesn't matter, it's all-black and politically correct so it'll do.
Here's the truth about the "buffalo soldier" myth:
