After appearing together as leads in 2009's 'The Soloist,' Oscar winner Jamie Foxx takes a supporting role in his reunion with Robert Downey Jr. in 'Due Date.'

Directed by Todd Phillips, the comedy also stars Zach Galifianakis, Michelle Monaghan, Alan Arkin, Juliet Lewis and Danny McBride.

Peter Highman (Downey Jr.) is an expectant first-time father whose wife's due date is a mere five days away. As Peter hurries to catch a flight home from Atlanta to be at her side for the birth, his best intentions go completely awry when a chance encounter with aspiring actor Ethan Tremblay (Galifianakis) results in a cross-country road trip that will ultimately destroy several cars, numerous friendships and Peter's last nerve.

Warner Bros. will release the film on Nov. 5.

Earlier this year, Foxx had a supporting role in 'Valentine's Day,' which had one of the largest ensemble casts in Hollywood history but received negative reviews from critics. It did manage to gross a domestic total of $110 million and an additional $100 million overseas.
