Kevin P. Chavous: College Readiness Is More Than Academics
The trailer to Denzel Washington's next film, 'Unstoppable,' has been released online.
Directed by Tony Scott and co-starring Chris Pine and Rosario Dawson, 'Unstoppable' is about a runaway train carrying a cargo of toxic chemicals.
The film pits an engineer (Washington) and his conductor (Pine) in a race against time. They're chasing the runaway train in a separate locomotive and need to bring it under control before it derails on a curve and causes a toxic spill that will decimate a town.
The script was written by Mark Bomback ('Live Free or Die Hard') and is loosely inspired by a true event that took place in Ohio in 2001.
This marks the fifth collaboration between Washington and Scott ('Crimson Tide,' 'Man on Fire,' 'Deja Vu' and 'The Taking of Pelham 1 2 3.')
Dawson previously worked with Washington in Spike Lee's 'He Got Game.'
20th Century Fox will release the film on Nov. 10.
