Rodney Perry, comedian and co-host of the highly popular 'Mo'Nique' Show, is hitting the big screen.
Perry is the latest cast member to be added to 'Madea's Big Happy Family.' He will appear as Harold, a henpecked man who has completely lost control of his family.
The dramedy was written and directed by Tyler Perry and adapted from his stage play, which is currently touring nationally. The movie also stars Bow Wow, Loretta Devine, Lauren London and Isaiah Mustafa.
Production is slated to wrap in early September, and the film will hit theaters April 22, 2011.
No stranger to film, Perry has starred alongside Matt Damon in 'The Informant,' as well as appeared in 'Bushwacked,' 'Chicago Pulaski Jones' with Cedric The Entertainer, 'Johnson Family Vacation' and the DVDs 'Legacy,' 'Redrum' and 'Showstoppers.' According to a rep, his latest role has him comfortably wearing his comedic skin and delivering his unique brand of hilarity alongside a stellar cast of characters.
Perry will continue to appear on 'The Mo'Nique Show,' broadcasting daily on BET. Season two of the late-night show will begin airing in October.

Two more reasons for me not to see this movie. Madea's back and that whack azz, unfunny Rodney Perry. Come on, BV. Do something about all the spam on your site. No wonder your viewership is slipping.
