Kevin P. Chavous: College Readiness Is More Than Academics
Rapper T.I., who is returning to acting after 2007's 'American Gangster,' plays a pivotal role in the upcoming heist film 'Takers.'
Produced by Will Packer, the film revolves around a notorious group of criminals (Idris Elba, Paul Walker, T.I., Chris Brown, Hayden Christensen and Michael Ealy), who baffle police by pulling off perfectly executed bank robberies. They are in and out like clockwork, leaving no evidence behind and laying low in between heists. But when they attempt to pull off one last job with more money at stake than ever before, the crew may find their plans interrupted by a hardened detective (Matt Dillon) who is hell-bent on solving the case.
The Atlanta native plays Ghost, an original member of the group who pulls the team into one last heist.
BlackVoices caught up with the multiplatinum artist, who spoke about his role in the film and his latest music.

I think T.I. is an amazing light for the society as a whole, there is no reason for people to jump to conclusions until they hear the entire story on these drug charges. T.I. has to much on his plate for there not to be a great explanation for the drugs in the car. The drugs could have been in the car already when they got it. Maybe Tiny has been dealing with a lot, losing a still born child, losing her man to jail, having to travel to see T.I., not being able to do the reality show, dealing with the children on the regular basis, The opening of the nail shop, dealing with a sick father on a regular basis. A rushed wedding, Weddings are da** stressful. Think about it all before you judge. Tiny has to be the reason for the ecstacy pills. The smoking hot girl group Xstacy under the Grand Hustle label. Look at Tiny, she has not been looking the greatest. She is only human, who has tried to reach out and help her? She is not super woman. All the nasty comments she's been reading. I know cause I have read them! She has never been in trouble! Tiny has been overwhelmed through all of this. All she need is a rehab program and counciling, no one knows how she may be feeling. They need all the support and prayers. Tiny I believe everything is going to work out sweet heart. God has your back just hang in there!

T.I. keep it moving baby, stay strong! Every King has trouble in his palace. You are a role model to society, showing that all people will have trials and tribulation. Society as a whole can watch your good times, and bad ones, showing that nothing in life comes easy. You are an example of what a black man in America goes through. You are also an example of how God Bless us & with his guidance alone we can make it through. Tiger Woods is going through too. Money & Fame does not exempt us from the evils in this world. Jesus didnt come down from his cross. So who are we? We have to go through, the joy as well as the miserys of life. Congrats on your accomplishments & God Bless you to shield you from those barriers along the way. That you may come out like Daniel in the Lions Den, as we are in this world. God will get you through, just ask, it shall be given.
