Directed by Tom Hooper, the film also features Guy Pearce, Derek Jacobi, Timothy Spall, Michael Gambon, Jennifer Ehle, Derek Jacobi, Anthony Andrews, and Eve Best.
This is the story of the man who became King George VI, the father of Queen Elizabeth II. After his brother Edward (played by Pearce) abdicates, George ('Bertie') reluctantly assumes the throne. Plagued by a dreaded stutter and considered unfit to be king, Bertie engages the help of an unorthodox speech therapist named Lionel Logue (played by Rush). Through a set of unexpected techniques, and as a result of an unlikely friendship, Bertie is able to find his voice and boldly lead the country into war.
Also out this week is the romantic drama 'Love and Other Drugs,' starring Jake Gyllenhaal and Anne Hathaway.

Directed by Ed Zwick, the film also features Oliver Platt, Hank Azaria, Josh Gad, Gabriel Macht, and the late Jill Clayburgh.
